brock01 Posted July 21, 2006 CID Share Posted July 21, 2006 Intel Corp. has reportedly postponed the release of its code-named Conroe desktop central processing units to July, 27, 2006. The reasons for the move are unclear, but it is likely that the chipmaker wanted to supply as many chips to the market as possible and also prepare appropriate platforms for the new family of central processing units (CPUs).
