I know battlefield 2 recommends 3.0ghz, 1.5-2gb of ram for a full game, 64 players. I have run a 16 player game on a 650mhz 512mb box before with no problems.. It all depends on what types of games you really want to run. I would suggest looking on ebay for some used equipment. I have seen 2.4ghz 1u server go for under $300.. you would just have to install linux or an OS and you would be up and running. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
