tommie gorman Posted July 24, 2006 CID Share Posted July 24, 2006 I asume you are running a clean computer aerodude ? http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-4257 Have you tweaked your connection yet? You might try this TCP Optimizer. It has premade settings. http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-1703 The first post. At the top of the pic is the attachment. Follow the instructions carefully. That is the one I use.

tommie gorman Posted July 24, 2006 CID Share Posted July 24, 2006 You are actually the first to say that. Is the TCP Optimizer all you have done since the first speed post? If you really think it hurt go back to your original back up file. Have you tried cablenut to tweak? http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-1013 Have you restarted your modem? Pull the plug on modem and touch your finger to the end. Your signal strength is fine. What exactly did you do of the above things. What anti-virus are you running? Are you on a router? I had to not post a few of speed tests I just ran. Mine has been bursting a little. Here is one of my tests with the 6000. :::.. ghostmaster Posted July 24, 2006 CID Share Posted July 24, 2006 Your speed tests will vary every time you test. Just depends on the traffic at the time. Nature of the beast when it comes to Dway. No amount of tweaking has ever really affected my speeds one way or the other....
