xs1 Posted January 15, 2005 CID Share Posted January 15, 2005 "LEEV " You say your on Comcast. Yet every time you post its on a different ip address. This meaning your using aol proxy servers. You cannot take speed tests running thru proxy servers. Now either that is the case, or your just trying to be funny and waste our time. < proxy addy here # 1 > SSL Cert: No valid SSL on this Host, Get Secure Whois History: 77 records stored Record Type: IP Address IP Location: United States United States - Virginia - Manassas - America Online Inc Reverse IP: No websites hosted using this IP address < Proxy addy here # 2 > SSL Cert: No valid SSL on this Host, Get Secure Cached Whois: Cached today Whois History: 85 records stored Record Type: IP Address IP Location: United States United States - New York - New York - America Online Inc Reverse IP: No websites hosted using this IP address

resopalrabotnick Posted January 16, 2005 CID Share Posted January 16, 2005 since you have infested your system with the ad/spyware that is commonly termed aohell, i suggest you cancel their service asap. also you might want to consider taking your system and doing a clean install, since aohells software tends to spread like a plague throughout the os, sending god knows what info back to aohell, and generally slowing things down, not just your connection. it may not have the fluffy bunny feel, not that that is a bad thing, of aohell, but a 'raw' internet feed will give you much more enjoyment, plus you'll prolly save money since you are now probably paying your provider /and/ aohell to go online.
