tommie gorman Posted December 7, 2006 CID Share Posted December 7, 2006 I would guess a spyware scan in safe mode, or have you rebooted after installing.

Voltageman Posted December 7, 2006 CID Share Posted December 7, 2006 Did you run a registry cleaner recently? I had a registry cleaner do that to me, but I have x64 XP.. If you have the flash player in your add/remove programs list, uninstall it(I think its under adobe now). Then look in Windows/System32/Macromed/ for Getflash.exe(or you can do a search for it..include system folders in search options) If you have that in there, run that and then reboot...See if that works. The name may have changed, meaning its not Getflash.exe anymore..See if there is anything similiar in the Macromed folder and run it(it will be a little flash icon exe)
