hi i actually work for virgin media (ntl) i have had my staff deal installed with 10mb broadband.

everything is working fine (when wired to modem and to router)

i purchased a dynamode router which i could get a connection both wired and wireless but the wireless would only hold for a short period of time then drop and auto scan again.

after thinking it may be the dynamode usb adaptors or router i decided to send them back.

i now have the buffalo 54g router which looks and has had great reviews to support it is a good router.

i also have 3 home pcs. 2 with xp 1 with vista.

2 dynamode usb adaptors and 1 bluenet (vista compatible)usb adaptor.

here is the problem now -

installed all the drivers for both adaptors and router.

can get a connection fine when wired.

adaptors pick up the router and we are using defalt settings on channel 11.

when you go to accosiate the adaptor with router using the adaptors software.

it accsosiates and gos green (connection status) for litterally 2 secs.

you cant even load up a page. then it either says -

auto scanning for router or does not accsosate at all to router.

this is doign my head in and i dont know what im doing wrong.

according to the instrustions this should be working.

even tried using the pc in same room as router and adaptor incase it is signal.

this is also happening on all 3 pcs with xp and vista and 2 different usb adaptors same problem.

help help help plz.!

thanks in advance.

Just a silly question I'm sure you've overcome already, many times there is a conflict between wireless programs on your PC's that may cause a situation such as ;windows wireless program / or the software that you may have installed that came w/ the adapters ?

I have also noticed this device is USB 1.1 capable .......???
