starship_troopers Posted July 2, 2007 CID Share Posted July 2, 2007 Hi, I tried watching a dvd in my media player 11, and then in power dvd, in DIVX player, and all came out with the same results...and this is with every video file i've played. The video may start off right, but then gets brighter/darker and keeps doing it all the time. so like if i'm watching a movie, it will be too dark, then in a few seconds it will be fine, then too dark, too bright, etc. any ideas how to fix this? starship_troopers Posted August 1, 2007 Author CID Share Posted August 1, 2007 yup. and i even reinstalled all of the codec's....i just formatted and it works most of the time now. but every once in a while it darkens for a little bit then back...but not as often as before. starship_troopers Posted August 1, 2007 Author CID Share Posted August 1, 2007 thanks, i got it fixed, for some reason i couldnt get it to work still iwht the k-lite codec pack...so i downloaded and installed combined community codec pack. it works great.
