VanBuren Posted January 29, 2005 CID Share Posted January 29, 2005 it might be a issue with the large RWIN you have without router try this download and install cablenut 4.08 https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1013.0;id=64 download this attached file, unzip it to C:ProgramCablenut open cablenut adjuster, in top left corner click file, click load custom settings file, browse to C:ProgramCablenut and dubbleclick on the file you unzipped now click save to registry reboot, also reboot your modem for 30 seconds plug in your router make a new tweaktest and post result URL and make speedtest again good luck VanBuren

VanBuren Posted January 30, 2005 CID Share Posted January 30, 2005 do you have any other Tweaks beside Cablenut installed or used to have them installed? open cablenut, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry download this http://www.dslreports.com/front/DRTCP021.exe open Dr.Tcp make sure all is set to Default and erase all values you see so all fields is blank for all networks adapters, now click save open cablenut adjuster again, load the attached file again and click save to registry now reboot your pc VanBuren

VanBuren Posted January 30, 2005 CID Share Posted January 30, 2005 you must be loosing packets, and since you cant copy results, i cant see that use 2992 KB file when testing speed here, its most accurate also call your ISP and complain VanBuren
MICROWAVE Posted January 30, 2005 CID Share Posted January 30, 2005 I can't seem to be able to copy the stats... the copy button remains gray I tried highlighting all the info to cut/paste, but could not. I ran the tracert, and it reports a couple of lines, then it indicates timing out(over and over). Any ideas? What you have to do is go to left top of screen and click icon c:, then click on edit which brings up next screen where you will select all, go back up and select copy, then on your desktop make a new text document and paste the results there, now exit and save and when you need to post results here copy and paste from the saved text file on your desktop. This is a common problem and this is a work around that has worked for everyone else.....good luck and if you have problems doing this let us know and will try and talk you thru it.....
