coknuck Posted September 10, 2007 CID Share Posted September 10, 2007 merlin925, Welcome to the forum, hope you enjoy your stay here. Cablenut will help but its a Trial and Error. Give this one a shot it will either work or not work. First off you do have Cablenut 4.08 installed? Be sure to re boot your computer for the settings to take place in the registry. merlin925 Posted September 10, 2007 Author CID Share Posted September 10, 2007 Tried the TCP optimizer....maybe Im expecting too much... No I havent....saved the file ...do I need to put all those settings in to optimizer?
coknuck Posted September 10, 2007 CID Share Posted September 10, 2007 The file I left you in Reply 1 is a Cablenut File. I think the older ones are better than the newer ones, but thats just my opinion.
tommie gorman Posted September 11, 2007 CID Share Posted September 11, 2007 Also do you have anything running in the background? (Other programs, like IM,etc...) And are you running through a router? Also what all is in your start up menu? That might help.
