mummer43 Posted February 5, 2005 CID Share Posted February 5, 2005 I recently installed an TV Tuner card and I had to use a splitter to run the cable to the card and to the modem. My computer has slowed doen noticeably since I started using the splitter. Is there anything I can do to get it back to normal?
Indestructable Posted February 5, 2005 CID Share Posted February 5, 2005 There may be something wrong wiht the splitter. Do you have any tweaks installed?

mummer43 Posted February 5, 2005 Author CID Share Posted February 5, 2005 I just did this patch thing that is in the FAQ and it incresed my speed. Will this hurt my computer and how can I restore the original setting? Here is what I did: 1. What OS are you running, ex win 98, win xp, if you have XP make sure you have SP2 installed! Also download the p2p fix for SP2 here https://www.speedguide.net/read_articles.php?id=1497
