coolbuster2007 Posted February 23, 2008 CID Share Posted February 23, 2008 Poweroff is a small program to schedule a shutdown, reboot, logoff, poweroff, Standby, Hibernate or Lock/Wake-On-LAN on the local machine or a remote machine on the LAN. It also supports command line options that allows power-off to be used in batch scripts. The program comes with a built-in scheduler and allows you to run another application before performing the action. In addition, you send warning messages to any use that is logged on, wait for a process to finish, remote control the program and more. PowerOff can optionally run in the system tray. It's standalone. No installation needed. Most importantly, it's FREE. Per Softpedia review: "The software is a must on every computer."
