FaT_PHiL Posted February 8, 2005 Author CID Share Posted February 8, 2005 ya thats gonna be sweet, a friend told me about a service up in tampa that offers 15 megs down and like 1 meg up or maybe more for only 40$, hopefully itll reach central florida by the end of the year as ive seen from other posts you are a tweak master ,how high could i get my speeds up to also is tweaking illegal because my friend had his service terminated after he capped at like 60 megs
VanBuren Posted February 8, 2005 CID Share Posted February 8, 2005 you never know, before you try tweaking, but a guess is around 5.5 Mbps Uncapping modems is illegal and i strongly advice NOT to do it......... thats stealing bandwidth and you can get sued for big bucks Tweaking your windows registry is NOT illegal and i advice ppl to do it if you cant reach 90% of the advertised speed VanBuren
