x_6985381 Posted August 26, 2008 CID Share Posted August 26, 2008 Try tweaking using cablenut software, or TCP Optimizer. Hopefully it'll help your connection get the most it can, I've had problems before, most all were fixed with tweaking. Have you tried to? klq9386 Posted August 26, 2008 Author CID Share Posted August 26, 2008 I wasnt worried about my speed. I was more or less informing that there is an errror in the testing.
x_6985381 Posted August 26, 2008 CID Share Posted August 26, 2008 Have you tried the basics, reset your modem, try a new Ethernet cord, checking your lines, the basic stuff?
klq9386 Posted August 26, 2008 Author CID Share Posted August 26, 2008 I am using a alltel wireless card. It is Pc-express and goes to the cell towers. No matter what I do if I go the higher tests they misread everytime. My card maxes out at 1500 kpbs about. The higher tests are reading about 14-26 mbps
x_6985381 Posted August 26, 2008 CID Share Posted August 26, 2008 What do you purchase as your speeds for the wireless card?
klq9386 Posted August 27, 2008 Author CID Share Posted August 27, 2008 They only had one plan at the highest the say 2400 kbps. The max I have ever seen is 1500 kpbs, so 20 mbps is a little much.
