coknuck Posted November 9, 2008 CID Share Posted November 9, 2008 DAWOOD, welcome to the forum. we have members from the UK here. I'm sure one of them will come along and give you help. Just a suggestion turn the Capps off it is considered yell over the internet. It might look cool to you but others resent it.

iced98lx Posted November 12, 2008 CID Share Posted November 12, 2008 If you're pulling 600kB/s, then you're outperforming your advertised 3mbps download speed (600kB/s =~5mpbs) Why don't you test here at testmy.net, post the results with the links provided and then post the plan details you've signed up for... it'll be easier to help you then! and btw, Welcome. --Chris

coknuck Posted November 15, 2008 CID Share Posted November 15, 2008 Your testing over 4000 miles across the big pond. I have a 10 meg line and when I test in London I only get 5-8meg, so there is a loss. I'm using a Acer laptop also.
