LouieG Posted December 4, 2008 CID Share Posted December 4, 2008 I just DL'ed and installed the mcafee Siteadvisor for firefox. When it told me that I needed to restart the browser. It said this: XPcom. Event receiver: firefox.exe. The procedure entry point NS_Alloc could not be located in the dynamic link library xpcom.dll. I don't see mcafee working, how can i solve this? zalternate Posted December 4, 2008 CID Share Posted December 4, 2008 Is the extension programmed for FireFox 3.0 ? Since I do not see it on the official FireFox add-ons pages. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox System requirements * Windows 2000 (SP4) / XP (SP1) / Vista, Linux and Mac OS X * FireFox 1.5 and above 1.5 ,Which doesn't always mean FireFox 3 . Or else disable all your extensions and try again to see if extension conflicts..And then if it works,, renable your extensions one by one until extension conflict found... http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problematic_extensions http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/phishing-protection/
