Dual speed test on my Intel X3350, 8GB of memory computer,9800GX2, running Window 7 64 Bit Beta. So far I have not had any big problems. I had a little try installing the drivers for my old Creative Xtreme Music sound card, but it working now. I even have folding@Home running four console [ one for each core ] and one for the GPU . It run all last night and most of today with no problems. Now I have to see if I can install a game.probably be COD 4. Speed test come out to be about the same as Vista.

This should be intresting to see. I don't think anything will be faster on windows 7, just think it will be more well behaved than vista and you really will have no need for a Super Computer To run It.

Will have to see how it all plays out. If it turns out all to be true no need to update my computer for awhile longer. Think a dual core with 2 gig and 8800 video card will be just fine.

I just switch over to window 7 on Friday. So far it is working as good or better than when I had Vista running on this computer. I had a spare harddrive,so I disconnected my main harddrive and connect the spare one . Window 7 is the only OS on this drive. For a beta OS it is working real good. It accepted all the vista software programs I install so far, 64 bit and 32 bit. I have AVG, SuperAntispyware. Spybot, Ccleaner, Eraser,SIW [ does give you a warning about compatibility ] VLC player, JKDefrag,Real Temp,CPU-Z,GPU-z,Flash Player, Folding@Home and EVGA Precision all are working with no problems. Cablenut seem to be the same as Vista, it does not really do anything. Install the first version of Halo last night,It work ok as a single player, but when I finally got it to accepted the muliplayer update the game would not work. I then install COD 4, it seem to be working in muliplayer , but single player the graphic are artifacting real bad, I am still on the Nvidia driver that windows 7 download off of windows update. I am going to try to download the newest driver from Nvidia and see what happens. I notice that Physx is not install with with my current drivers. Anybody else do a speed test with Windows 7. My comcast connection sucks, I was just wondering what others were getting on the speed tests.
