rlh24 Posted March 6, 2005 CID Share Posted March 6, 2005 Hello truk2004 and welcome to the forum. I feel the most important factor will be your installation. If it has been peaked out, included a good cross pol. Signal does not effect your speed although it will effect you in bad weather, like heavy clouds, rain, snow. If you signal drops to low you will be disconnected. As for tweaks I only use one tweak with my system. It can be found in this thread http://www.testmy.net/topic-1703 . The TCP Optimizer there is different from one that you may be able to find elsewhere on the net. Good luck getting your system up to speed. Remember it may take up to 48hrs for the NOC to register your new settings, so if you use the optimizer give it some time. Your speed should level off
