starship_troopers Posted September 1, 2009 CID Share Posted September 1, 2009 i just googled the PLDT DSL 990 plan...and from waht the links say (i cant post certain links as they are against spamming rules for other sites) ..but the links say the 990 plan only are advertised at 384kbps. can you post a link to your actual isp because i couldnt find their packages page to double check. but yeah if its advertised at 384 then you are getting some nice speeds for the price. but im still curious about where to find the package deals online. i cant seem to find them. spitfire19 Posted September 2, 2009 Author CID Share Posted September 2, 2009 the only site I know about my plan is this http://www.myworldmydsl.com/mydsl.aspx and sorry My Plan is 1299 not 990..My advertised speed is 512Kbps. because I'm wandering when they first installed the DSL last year My speed reached about 500 Kbps on utorrent then after 5 months my DSL stopped working, when technician arrived from PLDT and fixed it my speed only reached up to 70 Kbps. when I called PLDT they say that is the speed of my plan.. well I'm hoping to bring back that speed when they first installed The DSL.. and for the record My Computer Donn't have a Virus and is running on Vista Ultimate on an Intel Dual Core Cpu. thanks for your reply. Personally I'd feel obligated to report the poor service I'd recieved. And if nothing happened. I'd be looking for new service if possible. Surely they do not expect you to deal with that for speeds? starship_troopers Posted September 2, 2009 CID Share Posted September 2, 2009 it kind of looks like they have you paying for the larger speeds but only giving you the lower package. i'd definately call them and have them check their lines and everything on their end to make sure they arent ripping you off. my isp (cableone) had me paying not too long ago for 3mbps package and i was only on the 1.5mbps after that got fixed tehy tried it again. so i'd call your isp and make sure they arent messing up your info.
