VanBuren Posted February 23, 2005 Author CID Share Posted February 23, 2005 alot of ppl are way over their cap with these tweaks, i do not know how much bandwidth voip use, but aslong as your not using all your upload bandwith while talking in the phone it shouldnt be a problem, but i suggest you use that shaper, i assume it only reserve bandwith if you using the voip. BAF Posted February 23, 2005 CID Share Posted February 23, 2005 the voip uses 50kbit. the shaper is quality of service. There is a set of rules, and it shapes the traffic. BAF Posted February 23, 2005 CID Share Posted February 23, 2005 Alright. I think 38400 is the best recieve. 256000 gets approx 3.2mbit, and 512000 gets the same. I got approx 5.5 with 38400. Is there any finer tuning besides adding / subtracting 128000? Anyway, time to go adjust upload.
