zalternate Posted November 19, 2009 CID Share Posted November 19, 2009 Various things to check. Closeness to tower. If you have a USB stick modem, try plugging it into a USB extension cable to get it up from the obstructions on the floor. Siding or low 'e' windows on house restricting signal strength. tommie gorman Posted January 11, 2010 CID Share Posted January 11, 2010 Have you tried this section yet? http://www.testmy.net/t-4257 And instead of the cablenut, I was informed to use the TCP Optimizer instead for EVDO. And much simpler to use. And to the forum famouz1681 Also try a bigger file to use. 512 is not letting it get warmed up.
