jlarrym Posted October 9, 2010 CID Share Posted October 9, 2010 I get 25 Mbps down on multiple test sites except testmy.net speed test which gives me 7 Mbps. I have tested numerous times and the results are always consistent. I have used testmy.net for a long time and it was accurate until 2 or 3 months ago. Any speculation as to why the difference. CA3LE Posted October 10, 2010 CID Share Posted October 10, 2010 Some Comcast users aren't getting the best route to the server right now. My host is communicating with the peering for Comcast and this issue should be resolved soon. It's not the server though... or the tests in general. Look at the speed I just pulled on Cox 50/5 :::.. I take issues like that very seriously. This isn't all Comcast users however. I just got back from Nashville and used a Comcast connection so I saw first hand that what I was told was resolved isn't for everyone. I sent my host an ultimatum... either provide me (and more importantly my users) with the routes and service that I've come to expect or I'm taking my business elsewhere. So one way or another this issue will be resolved ASAP. Thanks for your input, I really appreciate it. - CA3LE
