Alliecatz Posted March 7, 2005 CID Share Posted March 7, 2005 As an e-aoler, switched to direcway, I HATE the way Internet Explorer works compared to AOL browser. Maybe I just dont know HOW to work it! Can anyone tell me how to get the pages to load "separate" from the main page like AOL does? (In other words you could close a page out without closing down the browser. For instance, with AOL you might have two pages open and working on them at the same time, but with my internet explorer you have to keep hitting the "back" button to move around from page to page. I would LOVE my new direcway if it werent for having to use the explorer! IS THERE A SOLUTION I JUST DONT KNOW ABOUT? Please email me if you know of one! Alliecatz@direcway.com :::.. t1wireless Posted March 7, 2005 CID Share Posted March 7, 2005 You should really try Mozilla firefox it's in my opinion 10x better than IE. And about your question you could always right click and select open in a new window. -Tim-

Guest helloimtim Posted March 8, 2005 CID Share Posted March 8, 2005 FF is a nice browser. If you want to stay with ie you can use maxthon. Its what I use. Its ie with tabs. www.maxthon.com. The forum there is 2nd to none in my humble oppinion. Most respond within a few hours. Even one of the makers helps out tons.
