CA3LE Posted August 20, 2012 CID Share Posted August 20, 2012 When I do test the result say 810kb/s but using the time it took I cactually got 100 kb/s which is what the grey numbers to the right of your 810 result say. Why the difference? Good Evening Robert, The confusion is the difference between Kbps and kB/s - both numbers are right. Kbps is used to represent the speed of the line and kB/s is used to represent the speed at which a file or information transfers on that line. I know, it can be confusing. There's a calculator on my site >> https://testmy.net/to...t.php?n=810&c=1 Thanks for visiting, please pass the site along to your friends, - Damon Mueller - TestMy.net Also see https://testmy.net/in...test.php#tabs-2 for detailed information on data rate scales.
