Odysseus_____ Posted March 11, 2005 CID Share Posted March 11, 2005 It's odd... everytime I reboot, and come to the site to test a tweak I've done, the first run I make looks like this.... "Sorry, your score of 66764 Kbps is over TestMy.net's max of 60000 Kbps. I doubt your connection is faster than 60000 Kbps... Please RETEST" Which is of course what a cached result looks like, but I'm wondering why it does it on the first run after a reboot... It never fails... here's the second run.... :::.. Download Stats ..::: Connection is:: 24379 Kbps about 24.4 Mbps (tested with 12160 kB) Download Speed is:: 2976 kB/s Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/ Test Time:: Fri Mar 11 13:34:21 CST 2005 Bottom Line:: 435X faster than 56K 1MB download in 0.34 sec Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 65.79 % faster than the average for host (35.111) Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-WCXLG2VK6 Ever run after the first looks pretty much like the above run... No biggie... Just wonder what it is.
junkieXL Posted March 12, 2005 CID Share Posted March 12, 2005 Some firewalls definitly cause that error, especially the ridiculous XP firewall from SP2...simply disable & retest -JxL
