Ian3005 Posted August 3, 2017 CID Share Posted August 3, 2017 I was fortunate to find this site in order to check my internet speeds. This allows me to check speeds at regular intervals without manual intervention. Provided the service does not freeze when there is a dropout. The internet provider (NBN National Broadband Network) in Australia refuses to accept the results a proof of speed. I have been without WiFi and erratic service for a week and no-one can identify the issue. The NBN is claiming there is no problem form their perspective. The speeds are slow (<mbs/s download and ping can be over 850 -1050mb/s)
Pgoodwin1 Posted August 3, 2017 CID Share Posted August 3, 2017 See if you can find others close to you with your same service. Ask them to run tests on TestMy to compare to. Also, if possible, run your computer at their place if theirs is working well.
