pitbull481 Posted March 19, 2005 CID Share Posted March 19, 2005 Welcome to the Forum netsfan549 type just like this ------> 192.168.1.1 where you type in www.????? a box will come out asking for user name and password. if you never been there your default password might be "admin" nothing on the user name
peepnklown Posted March 19, 2005 CID Share Posted March 19, 2005 Isn't it 192.168.0.1? I also believe you type "admin" under user name and nothing under password. That should get you into the firewall settings. Which modem/dsl router do you have?
php Posted March 19, 2005 CID Share Posted March 19, 2005 the ip address depends on the router and network setup, both are possibilities
netsfan549 Posted March 19, 2005 Author CID Share Posted March 19, 2005 192.168.1.1 this one work and what do I do there?
Marcin541 Posted March 20, 2005 CID Share Posted March 20, 2005 Thats not a router, or firewall stopping you Its a error with verizon. Call them, tell them to send you the software cd and install it, it should work then. That it does it make a WAN connection to verizon instead of going through the modem. No port forwarding is needed for anything.

St3laras Posted April 2, 2005 CID Share Posted April 2, 2005 Try puting in the cd that came with your dsl, because everytime i get errors I just insert the cd that came with my dsl and it fixes everything!! and if not Just call Verizon and tell them! Good Luck!
