Please don't ask me to post speed tests or try to directly connect to my modem... Just tips like changing something idk.. Blako Posted March 19, 2005 CID Share Posted March 19, 2005 Ping mostly measures distance right? I am in western USA and my worst pings are to hosts in Europe or the UK, such as 500ms. Testmy.net is in Dallas TX and I have a ping of 52ms. Two questions, what kind of internet? and where you live? I used to have pings of around 60-80 (still bad but much better than the 110 im currently getting.. Hew Jass's Download Average = 2298 Kbps comcast.net Download Average = 3172 Kbps When I do a speed test I have less then 28 Processes going, I make sure that no packets are moving prior to the test, and my cpu usage is under 2%.
