rickyaz Posted March 21, 2018 CID Share Posted March 21, 2018 Ok so I was having an issue where my download and upload speeds were slow. Resetting the Modem & Router combo helped. Speedtest.net (using their closest server) is showing 375 down & 31 up. Testmy.net is showing near 100 down & 18.1 up. Is there a way to select a server on testmy.net. ? Why would speedtest be showing faster. ? Pgoodwin1 Posted March 22, 2018 CID Share Posted March 22, 2018 You can select the TestMy server by using the link in the very upper right Had part of the home page. you can read all about why TestMy results are real and slower than Speedtest by reading the info under the Extras pulldown above.
