Rychen Posted April 5, 2005 Author CID Share Posted April 5, 2005 firewall is off my setup is the comcast home networking thing Linksys WCG200-CC it's a wired & wireless system,the PC in the den is wireless and this one is wired ,the wireless one gets 3.2 - 3.9 ? Rychen Posted April 6, 2005 Author CID Share Posted April 6, 2005 no change, did install VisualRoute 2005 and it gives me this message...Analysis: 'testmy.net' was found in 16 hops (TTL=48). There appears to be a firewall at hop 0 or 1 that is blocking incoming ICMP TTL expired in transit messages for hops 1-15. Please contact your network administrator for help. I have turned off the firewall in windows wth??? my modem/router Linksys WCG200-CC could it have a firewall that I cant see? when I go to the settings page for it theres nothing mentioned of one?
