mike.roz Posted May 4, 2005 Author CID Share Posted May 4, 2005 Hi, I have done this butstill nothing. The line is definately ok as I've had it checked etc, but the only way the speed seems to vary is if I change the RWIN value etc but I can't seem to get the correct value to get my speed up to 220kb/s. Is there another value I can change? Mike
VanBuren Posted May 4, 2005 CID Share Posted May 4, 2005 your RWIN is in range for 250 Kbps but not for 250 KB/s for 250 KB/s you should use a RWIN of 61320 VanBuren

VanBuren Posted May 7, 2005 CID Share Posted May 7, 2005 well, the settings you have is fine, and the pathping is also fine, that makes me think your modem freaks out when your giving it some load eg during a upload or download. It might also me a driver/hardware problem in your NIC. VanBuren

VanBuren Posted May 17, 2005 CID Share Posted May 17, 2005 i dont think the problem is your settings open cablenut, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry now reboot test speed again and if you cant reach 2 Mbps, call your ISP and let them check your modem VanBuren
