bent240LV Posted May 10, 2005 CID Share Posted May 10, 2005 i have someoens computer who wants to add more memory and i told them i woudl do it. the problem is that they have syncDRAM in an older e-machines. I was reading on the net and it seems like it is the same as SDRAM except that the syncDRAM is not synchronized. my question is can i swap the syncDRAM for the SDRAM? thanks

cak46 Posted May 11, 2005 CID Share Posted May 11, 2005 Just make sure you use the same speed sdram for the new chip if you're adding, not replacing..
