  2. I enjoyed reading this thread lol....nothing better but a sensible/reasonable debate - s'good!!! I personally 'test-drove' an iphone as well and I did not enjoy it, but There's this guy that I know who pretty much gets everything Apple and thinks they are 'teh best' - nothing touches it...so when the macbook air came out someone confronted him about it not having an optical drive and he was like..."well no problem apple actually invented this thing like a remote optical drive where you can access another computers drive on the network so see, they thought of everything......"........little did he know that was around for ages lol - just funny....
  3. maybe a stupid thing to do but should definitely work.....windows allows you to set up a web item for each desktop/monitor you have....(display properties-customize desktop-web tab...).....you can put a different web item on every monitor/desktop I believe....just embed a video in a webpage or something similar, set it up to loop infinitely (html, etc..) and you are set....and it would play every time the computer loads up as well
  4. I believe 1.3.39 for apache and 4.4.4 for php although on the forums I noticed that the host said all shared are being moved to php 5
  5. Im on a shared hosting plan. Everything seems to be working but that...grrrrr
  6. I tried it.....still getting the same error.
  7. Well, when I do that I get: Premature end of script headers ERROR in the log.
  8. .....i can echo and print all I want from within php scripts....just not html....
  9. lol...everything is up and running
  10. yes, 1 is on.... Wierd thing is...within html when I use the <?php .... not even the print "something"; works .......argh....
  11. Yes, I did both: error_reporting(E_ALL); ini_set('display_errors', '1'); No errors within the erorr log. It's empty.
  12. I tried both the location where my .html file is that I am trying to run and now the cgi-bin as well. Nothing.
  13. tried that....made a php.ini and put it in the same folder as my script....still the same outcome
  14. I'm just now learning some php. I'm getting some basic ideas of how it works and its going well...but I just cannot figure out why echo-ing php in html doesn't work.... If I have a php file with this contents: echo "test echo"; $blah="display blah"; echo $blah; and I run the file, it works great. However, if I put in the same code inline with html code by: <?php echo "test echo"; $blah="display blah"; echo $blah; ?> ....nothing. Empty. Nothing gets displayed. Why is this? Also, because of this I cannot figure out how to use variables from php in html...same issue I believe.
  15. The task-manager shot you included seems to be writing to the page file quite a bit. It is quite possible that when you leave the computer running without doing anything it will go into stand-by or hibernate mode. I think that your page file then gets written. That would explain CPU usage as well as the page file usage at the same time.
  16. people actually like mcaffe and norton ? ....thats gotta be a mistake LOL
  17. I guess most of you are good boys and girls? LOL - now, how many of you REALLY have illegal copies of programs LOL !
  18. have you ever considered the fact that your hardware config/overclock, etc might not be running within the safe limits in vista ? ....just because it was in xp it does not mean it will act the same in vista - so if it was me I would retest and do some stress testing to make sure that you aren't making some sort of a mistake, its quite possible - i have yet to get a single bsod with vista
  19. does anyone know what font was used for the testmy logo lettering ?
  20. Spread the word people I would like to get some more opinions on this film !!? .....there is 686 views of this topic - some of you probably saw it ...what did you think ?
  21. I have to say that I liked the part about religion and the part about how financial system is set up the most ..... i really enjoyed it.....i have to say that I am not a very religious person and this is probably the first time that I've seen some 'strong facts' about why things are the way they are....
  22. Yeah, I am honestly surprised this thread did not receive more replies .... wierd...
  23. Either way, I believe that the point of this film is not necessarily to believe what it says but to push us to educate ourselves and to question the things that we already know because well, what if really they are just false ?
  24. As far as I understood this documentary says nothing about government trying to kill religion...I've watched it 2 times and I don't see that message Of course some of you, like tommie, might not like this film because it goes against many things we all believe in, but I personally like the facts all laid out, makes for a good argument - even if they are somewhat crazy as long as there is proof... It might be hard to actually accept certain things this film shows but why the heck not? ....denial perhaps?
