i dont think there is a fix for it since its probably the way the utility was coded and made to function......... to avoid that problem just use disk cleanup regularly...depending on the amount of computer usage I guess it would be safe to do it weekly

nah, this happens to me once in a while too....when too much stuff/trash accumulates.......the way to reduce the time or do it manually is to go into your C dirve (or whatever drive letter you are using), enable the viewing of hidden files/folder, go into C:Documents and Settingsuser name and start deleting everything you dont think you need....most of the stuff is in the local settings folder - like temp folder, temporary internet files and so on.....most of the stuff there is safe to delete but be aware that some application data is also stored in those folders which are your preferences/bookmarks and so on...... this is pretty much same thing as disk cleanup

It would be useful if you wouldn't post about same/similar things in multiple topics.....just one is enough to address all of your issues

eh yeah...i dont think suing is an answer to everything.....rather make sure you don't fly them any more....its a little battle that doesnt cost anything and that you can win easily, its a thing of principle.....

its gonna cost you 800-1000 for something decent just about nothing in that system is usable for gaming in my opinion

if you are interested in fios and live in an apartment complex, my best guess would be that it wont happen unless the entire apartment complex went for it - that is because you are living on private property and unless they approve equipment installations and digging and what not, dont count on it...

ive had a similar issue with my provider...cox hsi - ....it was a pain in the ass...took 7 techs to come out to my house for them to finally do something about it - regardless of what the issue, only you calling them and complaining all the time will fix the problem.....what you can do to speed up things a lot is call someone to come out and request that it is a field supervisor and that you won't accept anything else - request that they bring a new modem to isolate the issue.... ....since your problem, just like mine, is very unpredictable as it happens from time to time finding out what the problem is might be hard.....tell them to run a line straight from the box into their new modem and into their laptop - that will hopefully isolate the problem to either your equipment or theirs.... in my case i was on a node which was pretty much overloaded so after 3 months of calling over and over again they finally did a nodesplit and the problem is now gone...... ......those t3 timeouts can be causes by many things as I researched - from what I could understand your modem, every once in a while, needs to receive a test signal to verify that it is online - if that signal cannot reach it your connection might die.....another thing is that tx/rx signals can affect and cause that particular issue ( dont ask me what in particular because I wouldnt know ) - something about upstream problems....... .....hope you have better luck than I did and they repair your issue in time faster than 3 motnhs heh

I was just reading articles about iPhone and I've come to realize few things.......I think that apple fell short on making it a phone, but rather concentrated on making it a high-tech gizmo - ill give them the ipod, they did a decent job, definitely, but it isnt my sort of a thing - not a lot of us need 40gb of music on the go, but thats not the point now.... in my opinion apple fell short on the following things: - no 3g - no removable battery (....for some reason im just not surprised with this) - no picture messaging (okay, why not !?) - 2mp camera - no vid. recording (ouch) - no fm radio - no gps - no voice recognition / dialing (....come on!) now...you might go and say, hey do you really need a 2mp camera on a phone ? do you really need fm radio ? or picture messaging or even gps ? ........not really - i don't need any of that - but the point is most of those things are a standard nowdays and since you are looking to spend good money on a phone, shouldnt it have those features !? im not bashing the iphone, but i was rather researching it to find out more info about what it has to offer and what it fell short on - the conclusion ive come across is that you will probably find it interesting and cool because it most certainly is - i played with it, its fun, but it falls short when comparing to the actual phone industry nowdays

....its a toshiba satellite, intel core duo 1.73ghz, 512mb of ram, 80gb hd, dvd+- burner, ati 200m video, windows vista business.............its a nice 15.4 incher, i like it.......the best of all, i bought it cheap, for like 450 - which is a great deal...512 clearly isnt enough for vista so ill be dropping in 2gb in a week or so which should help out a lot.... ....i tried reverting back to windows xp but since toshiba doesnt directly support xp for this particular laptop its a pain in the ass....a lot of functionality is removed and the system itself is not stable....mouse movement is glitchy, function keys dont work, power options are almost non existant........just terrible, im amazed that they just didnt release xp drivers............but now that i removed that bloated vista home basic the laptop comes with and replaced it with a fresh install of vista business its much better...... so far so good speed test on it...wireless :::.. i checked your test history and your upload seems consistent. I'm not aware of upload test having any issues, it's always been accurate when I tested.

I didn't know what else to name this topic, but yeah..... ***Assuming that you are not a computer techie and that you prefer someone else fixing your problem, who do you go to ? who do you call ?....geek squad ? frys electronics ? your next door neighbor ? for me, if i didnt know much about computers i would still choose an individual rather than a big corporation. I believe that you get more attention that way and since they don't necessarily do 100's of repairs a day, they wanna do the best job they can so if something goes wrong, you can come eventually call them again. What about YOU!?
