-
You can set brightness to whatever level you want both for plugged and unplugged......i go the absolute minimum, not because of battery life but because its just too bright for me

...What I notice is that a lot of topics that people post end up in the off-topic discussion - now, this creates a lot of work for mod's and admins - they have to move topics quite often because simply everyone likes posting in the general section.... my question is: what is the general section for ? what is the off topic section for ? ....to me those two are very close, so everything I want to share I often post in general, and it often gets moved to off topic Also, the suggestion: Make off-topic discussions appear on the front page of testmynet. I think that the reason why not a lot of people post in off-topic is because they know it wont really reach a lot of people. I for one do that. I know when I come on TMN I have never a single time went into the actual forum categories, never, since I joined. I just check the front page and 'a ha' this is new, I'm gonna reply to this.... So, I think it would be useful to make off-topic discussion appear on the first page, or maybe make hte list on the first page a bit larger.....because I am not quite sure how many people do the same thing I do...well, lets make a poll about this
