junkieXL Posted June 5, 2005 CID Share Posted June 5, 2005 I had the Pro DSL setup back in the day when Verizon was known as "Bell Atlantic" & it was awesome. Verizon has done a remarkable job at screwing up what once was a great DSL provider....anyways, only issues i can remember is make sure you have those tel-line filters installed that they include with the modem & make sure there is a 'dummy' ip in your tcp/ip settings box (192.168.1.1 or similar)...but to get down to brass tacks, Verizon has been plagued with poor speeds & outages for years, so it may be a lost cause -JxL Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
