euskir Posted July 5, 2005 CID Share Posted July 5, 2005 Yes, I know. But Testmy is a good source, even in such odd conditions. Anyway, I'm thinking if someone can reveal some methods to speed up a cable broadband on a Mac. The tips and the sticky are ok, but for some reason doens't work here. thanks for the attention... tbaker397 Posted July 5, 2005 CID Share Posted July 5, 2005 Make sure you have a high Rwin value since the bigger the better for overseas testing. But don't expect to get full line speed from the testmy servers. But you should get pretty close.
euskir Posted July 5, 2005 Author CID Share Posted July 5, 2005 Thanks for the answer. I've got (copying Testmy stats) right now: My guess would be that these stats are for a 768 Kbps/128 Kbps connection. But usually is 1 MB / 128 Kbps. I'm on a 1 MB Cable connection, so, I think is a good stat.
