Help, Lag.

Well I reformatted and thought everything was just dandy until I went into a game of Counter-Strike, My latency would be 26 one second then the next 300+. Then drops back. Also whenever I got into a gunfight itd get all skippy but my fps would be 72, which is the max.. If you can help with this please help. Also you can tell me what I need to post to help you.

It could be a temporary thing, you can give it a couple of day's and see if it's straightends out or you can call your ISP. Whatever you prefer. :)

Try powercycling your devices:

-power down computer

-power down router

-power down modem

-wait 1 min, check connections for security

-power up modem, wait one min

-power up router, wait one min

-power up computer
