mdl399 Posted July 21, 2005 CID Share Posted July 21, 2005 What does doing this do ? start, run, cmd you get command box and type netsh then enter then dump . Adelphia had me do this. I have a problem playing online gaming. I can do anything on the web but when trying to play an online game, I get bad lag. I have been playing this game for 2 years and I was told it was an out of network server. Any ideals what I can do except using dial up instead of broadband to play this game ? Thanks for your help. Guest helloimtim Posted July 21, 2005 CID Share Posted July 21, 2005 Start Run Command is basicaly dos for windows xp. The netsh dump is just reseting your config for your internet connection. It is a basic ip fix. I personaly dont think it works well But I have been known to be wrong. If it fixed your problems cool. If not the guys here can sure help you tweak that bad boy out. They are good at it. Van buren is the one to help.
mdl399 Posted July 21, 2005 Author CID Share Posted July 21, 2005 I dont think the problem is on my end. I can download and upload fine well 3.2 meg down and 302 up. I think its the route that my signal takes, there is a bad server that i would like to find so i can let the owner know that they need to fix it. cholla Posted July 21, 2005 CID Share Posted July 21, 2005 mdl399 : Just some advice if a tech wants you to do something have him explain what he is having you do & what it does to your OS.If he doesn't really know or you don't like what it is going to do to your OS then say no lets try something else. If you know your OS isn't the problem tell the tech this.Thats a lot better than let a tech screw something up.
