tbaker397 Posted June 26, 2005 CID Share Posted June 26, 2005 I like Adelphia's way of registering, via web.
netmasta Posted June 26, 2005 CID Share Posted June 26, 2005 Comcast used to do it that way, through something called "SAS". I'm not sure if there is a "web way" of registering your modem anymore.
Swimmer Posted August 1, 2005 CID Share Posted August 1, 2005 There use to be a server that you could hit and enter the mac and serial of the modem and you would be set to go.. I will have to look and see if I can find/get to it anymore..
netmasta Posted August 1, 2005 CID Share Posted August 1, 2005 I know when I was on the old Attbi.com service, you could do the change on the web. It was through "sas.ne2.attbi.com" (site no longer active). You could add a mac/computer or change one. This was when Attbi, didn't force you to use a router and single IP address. BTW, welcome back swimmer. Where have you been?
