compuworm Posted September 13, 2005 CID Share Posted September 13, 2005 Ok, are u running XP, do you have a router, and who is your ISP provider. Look at the links below and this should help. http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-2097.0 http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-3924.0 http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-8087.
FallowEarth Posted September 13, 2005 CID Share Posted September 13, 2005 What are your advertised speeds?
Fr0 Posted September 14, 2005 Author CID Share Posted September 14, 2005 Thanks for replying. I had a hub at the time, I plugged in my router and it seems to be working a bit better. I don't know hwat the advertised speeds are, I get it from Cogeco cable. A friend of mine says he gets upwards to 5-6Mbs with the same provider, and he also uses a router. Don't worry, I always read the stickies before I post in a forum. Fr0
