Please ask your host to ensure that PHP was compiled with MySQL, or that the proper extension is being loaded.) Any Help you good people can offer is apperciated. reno Posted September 27, 2005 CID Share Posted September 27, 2005 Your best bet on something like apache is to use a program that installed PHP mySQL and everything else you could want. Search for a program called apache2triad I use it and I never have any problems.
TriRan Posted September 27, 2005 CID Share Posted September 27, 2005 no... php 4.x.x has a problem with MySQL 4.1.x im not sure which version of MySQL your using but this could be the problem.. php4 runs fine with MySQL 4.0.x but doesn't work with MySQL 4.1.x with the new password encryption the fix for this is set MySQL4.1.x to use old password encryption also php 5.x.x works fine with all versions of MySQL for a little more info on this topic click Here
