vamp07 Posted February 26, 2006 CID Share Posted February 26, 2006 I wonder if the networking experts in onelinkpr really know what they are doing or they are making it up as they go along? I assume that when it was adelphia they had a large group of people supporting the backbone.

gyzmopr Posted February 27, 2006 CID Share Posted February 27, 2006 I've called tech support at Onelinkpr.com all week and my download speed in the evening sucks. Less than 512kb in Guaynabo. They give me all kinds of excuses from, we have problems with our DNS your area has problems with latency (my pings are over 200) and the last one was, your router is bad . Online game play is impossible, it lags too much. If this does not get fixed this week, I'm calling DACO and getting my money back. One tech said, " well our SLA (service level agreement) says we don't gaurantee any speed", and I told him them to take off the tv ads that say upto 3 mbits, thats false advertising. I am having exactly the same experience. They said that they don't advertise any guarantees'because they say "Speeds up to 4 GBits!" but they don't say that its only 2% of the time ... the rest is 98% packetloss and bull!#@$ :::.. oscarnpia Posted February 27, 2006 CID Share Posted February 27, 2006 well people onelink has started doing their job of satisfying customers now it's time for us clients to start hammering their phone lines to give us the bandwidth we are paying for, for everything we want, that means online gaming, yes p2p and bittorrent and everything else that we wish to use. none of that internet/email only crap. we want our bandwidth now!
