dlewis23 Posted November 1, 2005 CID Share Posted November 1, 2005 Over the past week i have been looking at the bellsouth network and how it works, Its really very different from the way other dsl isps work. The main thing they do that others don't is interleave there lines so that they can get a bigger data pipe to your house on one line as apposed to 4 lines. What I have done is revamped my code for the speed test to take advantage of this feature and many other features that bellsouth uses so i can give all bellsouth uses a more accurate speed test. give it a try. http://speed.imagehouze.com
anox195 Posted November 1, 2005 CID Share Posted November 1, 2005 I used to have Bellsouth Extreme 3.0 and i got a maximum of 2.3Mbps down and maybe 320Kbps upload, when they advertise 3/384, so WTF, they have a crappy network! do you host imagehouze?
