ZeroOne Posted November 18, 2005 CID Share Posted November 18, 2005 Hey guys, everytime I try to play a dvd through windows media player or realplayer, i get an error message that stops playback and says it needs to close. Ive found from reading the error report that the file that causes this problem is called iviaudio.ax. Ive heard it comes with Intervideo Windvd, which I DONT HAVE. Why do I have this file, and can I safely delete it? (its in c/windows/system32). Thanks for any info
junkieXL Posted November 26, 2005 CID Share Posted November 26, 2005 yes it is definitly a WinDvD file, & i would surely delete it & also search through the registry for any keys/values matching "WinDVD" & "Intervideo", and delete those as well. Also, it is a good idea to make sure u have the latest ActiveX installed too. hope this helps, -JxL
