VivaLaEric Posted December 19, 2005 CID Share Posted December 19, 2005 I don't know why it keeps doing this, but when i am trying to load 2992 kb i have problems. What's happening is, it loads about 23% then stops (freezes) for about 3-5 seconds, then loads another 23% then stops for 3-5 seconds again, all the way until it reaches 100%. Why is this happening? is it my computer or connection?

coknuck Posted December 19, 2005 CID Share Posted December 19, 2005 It could be your firewall causing the problem, try taking the test with it turned off. also anti virus has to process everything.try turning it off too.

resopalrabotnick Posted December 20, 2005 CID Share Posted December 20, 2005 where are you physically located? the freezing sounds too long and infrequent, but it is something like the problem you get when the rwin is too small... read the two topics in my sig and post all the info, that will tell us more about your connection and what could be wrong with it. cdf216 Posted December 25, 2005 CID Share Posted December 25, 2005 Try using this test: http://www.testmy.net/d_load.php?ni=1&tt=1&s=97&st=st&ta=&top=&nobar=1 the problem is probably that the progress bar has problems with some systems.
