igarek77 Posted December 22, 2005 CID Share Posted December 22, 2005 Hi All Just wanted to ask you guys something, whenever I'm playing a video game sometimes I'm getting these error messages. the heading says **APPLICATION NAME** - Application Error then the body of the message states: The instruction at "0x00469012" referenced memory at "0x000000". The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate the program Click on CANCEL to debug the program. that's it. Can anyone assist ? I just purchased brand new memory from Corsair 1G. (TWINX1024-3200C2PT) If any more info needed please ask. Thanks. Igor P.S. I also noticed that the "instruction" and the "reference memory" numbers cold change with every time that error box pops up. organ_shifter Posted December 22, 2005 CID Share Posted December 22, 2005 What are the games? Could be a common error that is easily resolved.
Voltageman Posted December 22, 2005 CID Share Posted December 22, 2005 http://www.memtest86.com/ -- See if the memory passes the tests.. If its a dual channel set, you may need to exchange it..I've had to do so several times with dual channel memory..
