i live in dallas texas.i was just wodnering how did u know where your central station is and how far its away from u. van buren can u help me make a cablenut thing? cant find one wit 3mbs down and 512 up. -mucho gracias

just got the pro package a week ago but had the express for about 2 years. i am using the speedstream 5100, the one provided by sbc when i bought the express plan. you? i still want my speed to be faster weird though im running the same eprcent as my express but wit just a different ratio, around the high 70%.

man those are the exact same speed i got..weird. but now i got the Pro plan man! exactly wahats mention above i got spoiled and wanted faster speed even thought the express is good but pro is better! im paying about$25 a month for 3mbs down and 512 up.

yeh your definitley right! im getting around 2.6mbs also..whats this lightspeed thing your talking about? is it like verizon fios? the 3mbs plan is great for me since i get low 20 ping in css, unless i play in some wacky china server than its off the chart. i can c why sbc dont raise their speed cause im paying $25 for 2.6 mbs which is optimal.

yeh sbc are lieing mofo. i called them and they try to rip me off also, by making the rates higher. they say the pro plan was $35 instead of the $25 promotional price. i just said yeh watever and hung up. i called again and luckily i got a nicer person who agreed i was right. i got the pro price for $25 and running at 2.5ish mbs down and 400k+ upload. was running at 1.3 mbs down but since the new prices came out i had to upgrade! you just have to get around those scum bags that try to rip u off, but theres always those nice honest ppl that work there.

i think that if u have a dynamic ip from sbc which is the express and pro service than your ip would change everytime you restart your computer but if u have a static ip than it wouldnt.
