  1. I have only bought from ebay once, so I am not really sure.

I would assume that there is a minimum price that the seller wants, but I did not see one advertised in this case.

It appears that he has had 219 sales thru ebay, all with good marks.

So I would guess that he won't renege.

I bid $2.00 under the name Starbase_x...but I will not go over $3.00...he said shipping would be $9.00 because he would need to use a big box...so bid+shipping = way over the approx. $7.50 that three bottles of Romulan Ale are really worth.

  2. :haha: I have never gone this far, always liked the movies, though...

Anyone remember the Saturday Night Live episode with William Shatner and the Trekkies :haha: :haha:

I ebayed both, and found one auction for your Romulan Ale.

    It's a start -

:o Thank you very much for the find. I never used e-bay before...if the seller only gets min bid or so, are they obligated to sell or can they renege and not sell?

  3. I have not done much comparing notebook CPUs...

"From a battery life perspective, the Turion 64 was clearly inferior to the competition based on Intel technology. But then only when the CPU is lightly loaded, as when running a typical set of Office applications. When applications put more demand on the CPU, the difference in battery life among these systems narrows noticeably. And if the CPU and graphics components are purposely maxed out, as when gaming, the tables turn completely as our results showed, and the Intel system falls behind. In this last usage scenario the lion's share of power consumption in a notebook goes to the PCIe-attached 3D graphics chip and video RAM, and not to the CPU. "

  4. they propably look at the websites logs and check who downloaded what, thats how they get all the info hashes and what you downloaded..at what time, etc.

Even if they do get your IP from a websites logs, don't they still need to go to your ISP to find out your identity (name, address, etc...)...and if the ISPs only log the most recent IP addresses you've had for a short duration, then how can they cross-reference your IP with your account?
