I have the same problem you do and its crappy OOL that the speeds are not what they are supposed to be. At time i do hit over 30 mb but not much at all. Get Fios back if you can because i have had problems for 6 months with Boost not getting advertised speeds and they dont care. OOL sucks man get away as soon as you can !!!!!!!!! I had them for over 10 years and they almost never reach advertised speeds.

Just use Tiny xp and most of that is taken care of

My comp only has a 300 watt PSU and i have a 512 mb 7600 GS on mine and it works flawless. It also has DVD burner, CD burner, 2 gigabit ethernet NIC cards, 7.1 sound card and 2 hard drives. My comp is actually a server ( Dell 400SC ) used for a desktop so you should try it first to see how it goes as it might work fine.

you could hit a bit over 30 mb with 768 upload because if you look at my picture i'm doing about 30 mb and its less than 700 upload being used.

Doesn't Cox use powerboost like Comcast ? enjoy the boost

Post a trace route to testmy.net and 167.206.8.140 which is the server ip that you posted.

I complained to my isp for about 2 months and got about 7 other people in my town to complain also and now we get over advertised speeds to most places
