  2. i think there might be a problem with the modem. try and get another modem.if the problem is still the same, try another router. possible you might have to call up the ISP and have someone do a line check.

  7. i just got back from staples.found a linksys wired 4 port router{the BEFSR41} for $60 bucks.i didn't get it cause 1.expensive. 2.the bloody line in that store is nuts. they also had an old one model way in the back of the shelf.it was the same model number, but it didn't have the Cisco Systems Logo on it and had 3 seperate bars on it like Act/Link/Speed or something above those lines. i was gonna try my luck and try to talk them into giving me that one for cheap, but i couldn't find anyone.

  21. yeah.it's cable internet/service for northeast P.A. had to wait over a month to get an appointment, then a few months down the line i had problems with speed and random drops of signal.the lines outside were good then they came in to find my signal just from the wall to the cable modem{which is on the other side of the room} went from 5 dBmv to 0dBmv causing the modem to drop the signal and reset.
  22. i seem to remember my dad signing up for 2meg and 384 upload i think. Trace:
